Call me old fashioned, but I love the quaintness of a small town church–nothing fancy but strong on warmth and character. I also enjoy knowing everyone who attends from the oldsters to the youngsters. Salmon Run is just such a small town, chuck full of these small community oriented churches of all denominations. Situated in the Nooksack River Valley, the town is nestled among tall maples and cedars. The only competition with the trees is the numerous spires from the town’s churches standing high and mightily every other block or so. Likewise Salmon Run is an old fashioned town—not too fancy but big on care and concern.
